Ages 8-14 Papermaking with Stacey
In this workshop, friends will have the opportunity to make recycled paper. All levels welcome to explore different shapes, materials and uses, and the weaving in of natural materials to enhance their creations!
Ages 8-14 Origami Journals and Haikus with Stacey
Join Stacey for a fun afternoon of exploring Origami Journal making. Basic folding and bookmaking will be shared, along with some creative options to continue creating with origami ( cranes…boxes…) Participants will have the chance to play with color (paint) and intuitively decorate their journals, leaving with a completed book and even a Haiku or two!
Ages 5-7 students will learn form Master Naturalist Valerie Bayer to explore what they find in nature and document it in a journal
Ages 8-11 students will learn form Master Naturalist Valerie Bayer to explore what they find in nature and document it in a journal July 23 from 10:00 - noon
Students will receive a set of journaling supplies
Ages 8-14 Felting with Stacey
Join Stacey to learn the basics of needle felting. Participants will have the opportunity to explore basic techniques, practice making fun shapes ( maybe even hanging garland!) and connect with other creatives.
Ages 8-14 Mystic Wands with Stacey
Join Stacey for a magical afternoon creating mystic wands. Participants will explore crafting up something that feels unique and special -exploring their own personal magic through the creative process. Feathers, light strands, and beads are a few of the magical supplies offered.
